Robertum Franciscum Prevost

Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, a member of the Augustinian Order, was elected the 267th Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, 8 May. He has chosen to take the name Leo XIV. He is the first Pope from the United States of America and has served as Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops and as President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.
