Looking back...!

Dear readers of L’Osservatore Romano, On 15 November, we announced that the English edition of L’Osservatore Romano would be changing from a weekly newspaper to a monthly magazine [see below]. This edition is your final issue of the weekly newspaper. The staff of the English edition would like to express its deep gratitude to all the readers who witnessed the evolution of this paper over the past 57 years. During these five decades, we have been witnesses and narrators of the changes that have taken place in the world, both inside and outside the Church. This journey would not have been possible without the commitment of priests, men and women religious, lay people, journalists, photographers and collaborators who, with passion and dedication, devoted their time to bringing the words of the Pope to the faithful, since 1968.
