The stories of people like Thembeka, Lungi, and Busi illustrate the profound impact that compassionate support can have on healing and renewal. Thembeka, a 39-year-old from Mpumalanga, endured a childhood marked by trauma, neglect, and emotional abuse. As she grew older, the pain from her early years led to severe anxiety and depression. She felt isolated and unworthy, believing no one could truly understand her pain.
