Holy Father appoints Special Envoy to the National Eucharistic Congress of the United States of America

On 18 May 2024, the Holy Father appointed H.E. Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, as his Special Envoy to the National Eucharistic Congress of the United States of America, to be held in Indianapolis from 17 to 21 July 2024.

The Special Envoy will be accompanied by a Pontifical Mission composed of the following ecclesiastics:

1. Fr Michael Fuller, General Secretary of the Episcopal Conference;

2. Fr Jorge Torres, Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for the Clergy, Religious Life and Vocations.
