Talitha Kum launches new app to counteract human trafficking

09 February 2024

Talitha Kum, an international initiative against human trafficking and exploitation, has launched the “Walking in Dignity” application to raise awareness of and counteract human trafficking through prevention, care of persons and empowerment of survivors.

Launched on Tuesday, 30 January, ahead of International Day Against Human Trafficking, the app allows users to support real projects against human trafficking by walking. Users convert their steps into donations to any Talitha Kum or survivor-led projects of their choosing. They can also unlock informative content to learn about the realities of human trafficking.

The creation of the application was made possible through the collaboration and support of Misean Cara, the Embassy of Ireland to the Holy See, the Embassy of the United States to the Holy See, the Galileo Foundation and the Global Solidarity Fund.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. For more information please visit: https://www.talithakum.info/en/walking-in-dignity
