In the Paul VI Hall

On Monday, 6 November, Pope Francis met with 7,500 children from around the world at the Vatican’s Paul vi Hall to share a few moments of joy and laughter during a meeting themed “Let’s Learn from Boys and Girls”. Addressing the young audience, the Holy Father expressed his gratitude to the children, those who accompanied them, and the organisers of the event, including Cardinal José Tolentino and the Dicastery for Culture and Education, as well as Fr Enzo Fortunato, who made the event possible. He also acknowledged all the other families and organisations whose contributions were essential to this event taking place.

On his arrival in the Hall, the Pope was welcomed by songs and by five children representing Syria, Ukraine, Benin, Guatemala and Australia. After giving a short speech, the Holy Father responded to questions posed to him by 14 children of different nationalities.
