Secretary of State visits the Palestinian Embassy to the Holy See

Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin visited the Embassy of Palestine to the Holy See on Tuesday morning, 17 November, where he again condemned the terrorist attack and expressed serious concern for the hostages. He reiterated that what has happened does not contribute to peace, and he assured that the Holy See considers that the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people are represented by the State of Palestine. Lastly, he expressed the Holy See’s apprehension for the humanitarian situation in Gaza, and its closeness to the Palestinian people.
