The Filipino youth executive director of alima shares the organization’s mission to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children in the Philippines, especially through education.
“Our vocation is to serve as a catalyst for children’s holistic development and empowerment. Through alima, we strive to educate children about various aspects of their well-being, including health, environmental awareness and career paths”, said Mr Jessie James Perez, Filipino youth executive director of alima, a youth-led non-government organization in Negros Occidental, Philippines, that helps poor children who suffer from hunger and lack of education in Filipino communities.
