May our Mother preserve us all in unity and peace

A year after he consecrated Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pope Francis urged believers to never tire of “entrusting the cause of peace to the Queen of Peace”.

At the General Audience held in Saint Peter’s Square on Wednesday, 22 March, Pope Francis’ appeal came almost one year after he first prayed the Act of Consecration, at the annual “24 Hours for the Lord” Lenten penitential service held in the Vatican on 25 March 2022.
