Beatification of John Paul I

On Sunday September 4, Pope Francis will proclaim John Paul I, born Albino Luciani, blessed. The celebration will take place in St. Peter’s Square at 10.30 a.m.

Three evenings in memory of Chiara Frugoni

On the September 6, 13 and 22, at the San Domenico complex in Bologna, three evenings have been organised by the Il Mulino publishing house in memory of Chiara Frugoni. Sante, eretiche e balzane. Donne che osano, riflettono e trasgrediscono [Saints, Heretical and Eccentric. Women Who Dare, Reflect and Transgress]. Participants include Adriana Valerio, Maria Giuseppina Muzzarelli and Ritanna Armeni, introduced and moderated by Lia Celi.

Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Conference

“The Contribution of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians to Education (1872-2022)”. This is the title of an international conference to be held to mark the 150th anniversary of the Institute, held in Rome from 25 to 30 September.

The event has a very rich programme, with contributions from speakers from all over the world. Conclusions and Institute perspectives will take place on September 30 with the Superior General Mother Chiara Cazzuola.
