A home that is welcoming to all

Accompanied by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Governor General Mary Simon, Pope Francis signed the Golden Book in the Citadelle of Québec City on Wednesday, 27 July. He wrote:

“A pilgrim in Canada, a land that extends from sea to sea, I pray to God that this great country will always be an example of building a future that safeguards and values its roots, especially its indigenous peoples, and of being a home that is welcoming to all”.
