At the General Audience on Wednesday morning, 29 December 2021, Pope Francis continued his series of catecheses on Saint Joseph, highlighting him as an example of a persecuted and courageous migrant. Today I would like to present Saint Joseph to you as a persecuted and courageous migrant. This is how the Evangelist Matthew describes him.
