Have you ever experienced something that brought such joy that it surpassed your capacity to even comprehend it? This is Elizabeth’s experience when Mary came to visit her, “And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.” The visitation is a blessed experience of intense love and joy and like all moments of intense love, it is frozen in time; it is both a moment and an eternity.
