Francis among the poor

Today, Friday, 12 November, Pope Francis travels to the Italian town of Assisi, ahead of the fifth World Day of the Poor which will be celebrated on Sunday, 14 November. This year’s theme, taken from the Gospel of Matthew, is “The poor you will always have with you”.

In Assisi, the Holy Father shares moments of listening and prayer with about 500 people from all over Europe. See next week’s edition for the coverage.
