Rescriptum ex Audientia Sanctissimi Suppression of the ‘Civitas Lateranensis’ Foundation

The Supreme Pontiff Francis, in the audience granted to the undersigned Vicar General of His Holiness for the Diocese of Rome on 25 October 2024

DECREED

—  in accordance with Canon 120 §1 of the Code of Canon Law, the suppression of the “Civitas Lateranensis” Foundation;

—  that the residual assets of the Foundation, in accordance with Article 10 of the Statute of the same Body, be entrusted to the Pontifical Lateran University and destined for study grants for the benefit of its students;

—  the Holy Father has also established that this Rescriptum take immediate effect, with publication in L’Osservatore Romano, and then be inserted in the official commentary of the Acta Apostolicae Sedis.
