Pope signs Book of Honour in Juba

Pope Francis signed the Book of Honour at the Presidential Palace in Juba, South Sudan, on Friday, 3 February, as is customary during Apostolic Journeys. With the President of the African country present, the Holy Father wrote, “As a pilgrim here, I pray that in this beloved country, which is a gift of the Nile, rivers of peace may flow and the people of South Sudan, a land of great abundance, may see reconciliation blossom and prosperity spring forth”.
