Prayers for

“Saddened by the crash of the Yeti Airlines aircraft near Pokhara”, Pope Francis sent his condolences to President of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari, in a telegram signed by Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin. The Pope also expressed his closeness to all those “affected by this tragedy”, and assured “his prayers for those involved in the recovery efforts. Commending the souls of the deceased to the mercy of the Almighty”, the message continues, “His Holiness invokes upon those who mourn their loss the divine blessings of healing and peace”.
