Pope wishes Jesuit Fr Sabino Maffeo a happy 100th birthday

Pope Francis sent birthday wishes to Jesuit Father Sabino Maffeo on the occasion of his 100th birthday, on Tuesday, 1 November. The Holy Father expressed his great joy and his experience of spiritual consolation to be able to join the celebration of the centenary commemoration, giving thanks to God who called Fr Maffeo “to the wonderful adventure of life, which will never end, and to the vocation of being a companion of Jesus, to love and serve in everything.”
