The “particular capacity” of women to “value forgiveness” — which “provides them with the energy needed to love more, to be creative, to generate and sustain life” — was emphasized by Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, on the occasion of the International Women’s Ecumenical and Interreligious Webinar, “Women, Crisis and Resilience”, held on Friday afternoon, 4 March. Hosted by the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations (umofc/wucwo) in collaboration with the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (pcid), the event saw the participation of about 400 people connected from 70 countries.
