God comes to dwell in our “dark areas”, in our “inner stables”, Pope Francis told the faithful gathered in Saint Peter’s Square for the Angelus, on Sunday, 2 January, as he reflected on the day’s Gospel passage of John. The Gospel of today’s Liturgy offers us a beautiful phrase that we always pray in the Angelus and which, on its own, reveals to us the meaning of Christmas.
