On Friday morning, 3 December, the second day of his Apostolic Journey to Cyprus, the Pope paid a courtesy visit to His Beatitude Chrysostomos II at the Orthodox Archbishopric of Cyprus in Nicosia, after which he proceeded to Saint John’s Cathedral for an encounter with the Holy Synod.
