Promulgation of Decrees

On 30 August, the Holy Father received in audience Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. During the audience, the Supreme Pontiff authorized the same Congregation to promulgate the Decrees regarding: —  the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Placido Cortese (in the world: Nicolò), professed priest of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, born on 7 March 1907 in Cherso, now in Croatia, and died in Trieste, Italy in November 1944; —  the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Maria Cristina Cella Mocellin, lay faithful and mother, born on 18 August 1969 in Cinisello Balsamo, Italy, and died in Bassano del Grappa, Italy on 22 October 1995; —  the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Enrica Beltrame Quattrocchi, lay faithful, born on 6 April 1914 in Rome, ...
