In these days at FAO, delegations from all over the world are working together along with many organizations of civil society to clarify the range of commitment that the international community must exercise, without further hesitation, to face the hunger emergency and to fully accomplish the change necessary for full sustainability. The Pre-Summit sparked many contributions, more than 100 national dialogues, and also critical voices that should be not reduced but rather respected even when they express views of a different ilk. What is certain is that we cannot allow ourselves an inconclusive discussion. If we want to draw a lesson from what happened with the pandemic, we are all called to move forward.
