To recount their experiences of dialogue and reconciliation: this is the motive of the meeting entitled “Women of Faith for Peace”, which was held a few weeks ago in Jerusalem. Eight female leaders of five religions of the Holy Land have demonstrated their commitment to peace. Among others, the meeting was attended by Adina Bar- Shalom, an Orthodox Jew; Faten Zenaty, a Muslim, Nuha Farran, a Christian; Suha Ibrahim, who works to help Bedouin women; Basema Halabi, a Druze ; Thehilabila Barshalom, Jewish ; Dganit Fachima, a haredi. "Dialogue is not a utopia, but a reality” - this is the theme of the exchange. At the end of the Round Table, the Aurora Network was presented, born through the meeting between the community of Chiara Amirante New Horizons and Lia G. Beltrami – which, in the holy city, is particularly committed to interreligious dialogue starting from women themselves.
