Every 31 hours a woman is killed in Argentina. And in a single day more than 50 attacks of a sexual nature are recorded. It really is a true and proper carnage: 1,900 women were killed from 2008 to 2016. As well as the femicides there is violence of all kinds that has not been recorded; unless it is stopped in time, this violence risks leading to many more victims. Out of 10 murdered women two had had the strength and courage to report the violence which they had suffered. But denouncing the danger was not enough to ensure their survival.
