· Dicastery heads meet the day after the canonizations ·
The Pope's meeting with dicastery heads on Monday, 24 November, in the Bologna Hall was an ulterior step on the path to reforming the Roman Curia. The Director of the Holy See Press Office, Fr Federico Lombardi, announced this, explaining that the three-hour meeting was introduced by Bishop Marcello Semeraro, Secretary of the Council of Cardinals, the organism established last year by the Pope to help him in the governance of the Church and to explore revising Pastor Bonus. The prelate described the Council's suggestions for reform and then the meeting participants expressed their thoughts and considerations. Fr Lombardi also confirmed that the Council's next meeting will take place on 9-11 December.
