Their blog is called The Disabled Life and was started a few years ago by the Canadian sisters, Jessica and Lianna Oddi. With irony and sarcasm the two girls, both artists in wheelchairs, tell their story in pictures and drawings – all of which are accompanied by texts to allow the blind to enjoy the story – of their daily adventures and misadventures. Full of self-irony and wit, the sisters started with a Twitter account which then grew into a colourful and clever blog. Much is commented on and told about: from fashion to transportation, from dreams to friendships, including some resounding anger.
