They themselves do not know each other yet, but the occasions to do so will certainly come soon: Catherine Larrieu and Claire Verdier are in fact part of the new leadership of the French scouts, one at the head of the Scouts and Guides of France (SGDF, with a total of sixty-nine thousand members), the other of the Guides and Scouts of Europe (of which there are twenty-nine thousand). At almost the same age (52 years one, the other 51), the two women - presented by "la Croix" with the eloquent title The future of Scouting is written by women - are united by, amongst other things, a deep and solid knowledge of the territory.
