· For the Festival of Sacred Music and Art ·
On 11 November, it will be the choir of the Sistine Music Chapel, directed by Massimo Palombella, to perform — privately in the Sistine Chapel — the Missa Anno Santo composed by Georg Ratzinger. Making this announcement on Thursday, 18 October, were the organizers of the Festival of Sacred Music and Art which will hold it's 11th edition from 2-13 November. “La Fondazione pro musica e arte sacra”, which is organizing the festival, presented the restoration projects they are financing: the southern side of the Vatican Basilica and the “Fontana della Burbera”, a fountain 40 meters from the northern terrace of St Peter's.
