The 28th language

· The Pope’s book-interview is now available in Arabic ·

This new edition will be presented on 9 December at the Beirut Arab Book Fair in Lebanon which opened Saturday. Nour al Aalam (Light of the World), the Arabic edition of Benedict XVI’s book-length interview by Peter Seewald came out simultaneously in 9 languages at the end of November last year. With this translation — published by Al Farabi and coordinated by Lebanese Archbishop Edmond Farhat — the number of languages in which the q&a is available jumps to 28. The cover is yellow, white and red, a colour combination bringing together the Vatican and Lebanese flags. The book will be distributed in Arabic speaking countries from Morocco to Iraq.
