In Sudan

Bad news: families are no longer able to afford the costs of uniforms, satchels, books, exercise books and pens that are continually increasing, especially in families with several school-age children. In Sudan, it has thus become difficult to study. It then in fact becomes impossible for girls: the rise in costs forces parents to keep them at home. At El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, there is the additional problem of the school buildings having been destroyed in the last few months by heavy rains.
