The sex trade, a scourge of society

Sr Winifred Doherty didn’t mince her words when she spoke before Congress in Washington last 15 May – this American religious of the Good Shepherd Sisters declared that today the sex trade is more firmly rooted than ever in our society. The social acceptance of the forced exploitation of women and little girls in the first place with the benign definition of sex workers, “but prostitution is neither work nor sex”.
