Mass killings, group rapes, villages burned: a great many Rohingya women flee from these situations. The only possible way for this people to leave behind them ethnic cleansing and the all too real genocide with which they are persecuted is to reach the refugee camps in Bangladesh. Myanmar is seeking to “expel” all the Rohingyas, members of the country’s Islamic minority. This has been reported recently by Yanghee Lee, UN rapporteur for human rights in the former Burma.
