This coming 14 November Pope Francis will pay an official visit to the Quirinal Palace. This was announced this morning, Wednesday 23 October, in a statement from the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Fr Federico Lombardi. The Holy Father's gesture is intended, Fr Lombardi added, “to return a visit paid by the President of the Italian Republic, Mr Giorgio Napolitano, on 8 June”.
