A management course for the sisters of Jerusalem

Twenty women religious of various religious communities present in Jerusalem have taken a course in the management of social and charitable projects organized in the house of the Comboni women missionaries. For a week the course was coordinated by Charles Camara, an expert in Project Management and collaborator of the Catholic Diocese of Stockholm who pointed out to the sisters several guiding criteria for managing a project, such as the evaluation of the budget, the estimation of operating costs and how to collect and managing donations. Taking part in the presentation of the diplomas at the end of the event, Bishop William Shomali, Patriarchal Vicar of Jerusalem, in applauding the initiative recalled that the Church today is called to be more transparent in the management of projects and money, in accordance with Pope Francis’ clear instructions.
