Mothers with disabilities: an extraordinary normality . With this headline on the cover of the latest issue of the Italian magazine "Superabile" a photo of a young woman sitting, holding on her legs two twins stands out. What seems at first glance to be just a pretty picture, instead introduces three unpublished descriptions: these are the stories of Stephanie, Philomena nickname Milena and Lauretta. They have respectively one, two and four children and they each have a wheelchair. Between enthusiasm and complications, the investigation of Antonella Patete then tells of other ways of motherhood. Quite normal ways: "We have created a family with the "normality" of a life lived in a wheel chair - explains Milena, for example - where even one step can make all the difference."
