Christina Stephens and the Lego prosthesis

Due to an accident at work, Christina Stephens – a young therapist and clinical researcher – had to have her her leg amputated, from the knee down. In order to down play the drama of her prosthesis, the American girl built, brick by brick, a colourful fake leg with Lego in her living room. There is obviously no scientific basis for this but a lot of self-deprecating humour. The phases of Christina’s creation are available on her YouTube channel, AmputeeOT.
