Four Missionaries of Charity – the congregation founded by Mother Teresa of Calcutta – were killed this morning in the city of Aden, Yemen.

Yemite sources cited by the Chinese news agency attribute the attack to a group affiliated with the so-called Islamic State (IS), however no one has claimed responsibility yet. After killing the security guards, the terrorists entered the house located in the Sheikh Osman district of the city. In addition to the sisters, a driver and at least two Ethiopians volunteers were killed. However the superior survived. According to the AP, the terrorists set the sisters apart from everyone else after handcuffing the elderly and the sick. They then opened fire.
