The call to place men and women at the heart of Europe's political project – men and women, that is to say, not as “citizens” or “economic agents”, but as “persons endowed with transcendent dignity”. Pope Francis addressed this appeal to the members of European Parliament in Strasbourg during his visit on Tuesday morning, 25 November.
