Always go out

· Cardinal Archbishop of Buenos Aires urges a new missionary spirit ·

“I am counting on you to go out and not return. Always be missionary. The Church in Argentina proposed this and this is the Pope's sentiment”. The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Cardinal Mario Aurelio Poli said this during an archdiocesan assembly with Catholic Action held last Saturday in the Parish of St Francisco Javier, on the theme: “Catholic Action goes out”.

The Cardinal spoke about this task, inviting the laity to follow Catholic Action's 'style' “of always going out”. Cardinal Poli said that they can be happy to be able to count on the movement, like Catholic Action, suggesting that the members should follow the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary during the Visitation.

The assembly, which saw the participation of parish directors, included exhibitions and working groups. Elections for the heads of the association were also held. Gonzalo Zabala was elected president.
