Alarm for children in California

Very alarming news coming from the "Golden State" the most populous American state in the land of the stars and stripes. The Fides Agency, in fact, refers to a report released by the Centre for the New Generation stating that in California more than one in five children live below the poverty line. The news was also confirmed by the latest figures disclosed by the US registry office, according to which child poverty is becoming endemic in the growing local Latino population. In Los Angeles, where there are more than 9.6 million people, there are about 2.4 million children, of whom more than seventeen percent are poor.
