African craftswomen

Dar Maalma 2013 took place at Laayoune in the desert of the Maghreb from 5 to 11 December. The event aimed to support African craftswomen, revealing the rich patrimony of the crafts of women in the south of the world also in order to promote their emancipation, with a view to their sustainable development. The 2013 event was an important stage in this social and cultural path to emancipation, which began in 2009 and has continued with annual events that will converge at Expo 2015 in Milan.
