A world of unemployed

· According to the IMF there are two hundred million ·

Two hundred million people without work and two out of five of them are young people. These are the figures publicized by the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, at the start of the year press conference. We must concentrate on the real economy, conscious that "we need growth to create jobs, and jobs to create growth", the former minister of finance in France declared. In the face of widespread unemployment, she underlined that Government authorities must make additional effort both in advanced economies and in developing countries. In order to exit the crisis and avoid possible relapses, “inclusive and balanced growth”, as well as a process capable of involving everyone, is necessary. In short, according to  Lagarde a  “virtuous circle” is in order which combines growth and work.
